Trading Partner Registration

What Is Trading Partner Registration

  • An application that allows potential trading partners to register their intent to electronically exchange data with TDH
  • A way for potential trading partners and TDH to efficiently communicate
  • A mechanism for eligible providers to document their active engagement status for Promoting Interoperability or the Advancing Care Information Public Health measures under the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)

What You Will Need

  • PAAMS Account (username and password) to log into the system
  • Information that might come from many different sources within your organization, including:
    • Information about your organization
    • Information about your system(s) and associated vendor(s)
    • Information about your system's capabilities for the desired interfaces
  • To assist with gathering this information, you can use the Trading Partner Registration Worksheet

What You Can Do

  • CAN register intent to electronically exchange data with TDH
  • CAN view your progress through the on-boarding process of each registered interface
  • CAN document relationships between entities in your organization
  • CANNOT use the system for the actual electronic data exchange
