Notice of October 2014 Tennessee Auctioneer Commission
Rulemaking Hearing
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain rule changes or potential changes applicable to your profession. The Tennessee Auctioneer Commission is convening a rulemaking hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on October 6, 2014 in Conference Room 1-B of the Davy Crockett Tower, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243, at 9:00 AM, CDT. The proposed new rules are available for review on the website of the Secretary of State at http://state.tn.us/sos/rules_filings/06-21-14.pdf. The proposed rules to be considered at the rulemaking hearing include both new rules and amendments to rules within Chapter 0160-01.
In compliance with the Tennessee Open Meetings Act, compiled at Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-44-101 et seq., the above-referenced rulemaking hearing is open to the public, and you may either attend the rulemaking hearing in person to offer comments or you may submit written comments which will be considered by the Commission at the time of the rulemaking hearing.
