Notice of Public Rule Making Hearing for the

Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser Commission

Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the laws or rules applicable to your profession.

The Commission considered proposed rules at their October 13, 2014 regularly scheduled meeting. These rules were filed as Proposed Rules under Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 4-5-202 and 4-5-207 with the Secretary of State’s office. This communication is formal notification that a hearing date for these rules has been set for Monday, January 12, 2015 at 9:30 AM at 500 James Robertson Parkway, First Floor, Conference Room 1A, in Nashville, Tennessee 37243. The hearing is open to the public.

Any questions or concerns about the proposed rules should be submitted to the board office in writing at CE.Treac@tn.gov.  If you have any ideas, suggestions and concerns that you would like considered at the Hearing, please submit them in writing as well. They will be reviewed prior to the hearing date and presented at the hearing for the Commission’s consideration. Other than comments made personally at the hearing, only written comments will be considered for presentation; verbal comments to the board staff prior cannot be considered.
