| The State Fire Marshal's Office will be hosting its annual Fire Prevention Week Kick-off on Friday, October 3rd at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in downtown Nashville. If your department has a great fire safety display or demonstration and would be interested in setting up a booth, please contact Claire Marsalis at 615-532-5847 or claire.marsalis@tn.gov.
The festivities will start off with a press event to convey to the media the importance of fire prevention education and the dedicated stance that the Tennessee fire service takes on the issue. The rest of the day will be spent in education outreach to the public.
