With online Driver License Appointments you can make and cancel appointments with the Department of Safety for the following driving examinations:
- Class D Road Test (noncommercial vehicle such as automobile) Road test only - not written test
- Motorcycle test (Road test only - not written test)
NOTE: Regardless of the type of road test appointment needed, you are required to have passed ALL necessary written test(s) before your scheduled appointment. If you already have a "learner permit" for the Class you want to road test for, then your written test(s) have been completed. If not, you must go to a Driver Testing Center and request to "split test" so you can complete the written test(s) before your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment and the written test(s) have not been passed you will not be allowed to take the road test and will need to reschedule your appointment.
